i hate how the word "romantic" has become warped by pop culture to be almost strictly associated with love. because i am a severe romantic. and it's like the perfect word to describe me, but i can't use it cuz people would think i was a cheesebally-love-obsessed dope!
dictionary.com provides these synonyms for romantic: extravagant, exaggerated, wild, imaginative, fantastic, improbable, unreal. it's defined as fanciful, impractical, imbued with idealism, a desire for adventure, chivalry.
I LOVE THAT!

the sound of fresh paper
i love christmas because it's the only time of year when everyone just tries to make each other happy. with no strings attached.
i've been recapping this winter break in my head, since today is kind of its last day for me. as i'm scratching scabs from when i fell face-first down stone mountain in georgia, and an angry-looking bruise glares at me from my left knee after an encounter with a patch of rock-hard ice while snowboarding at mountain high outside LA, i now lay on the guest bed in my bestie's parent's home in south florida, surrounded by all the weird miscellaneous items that get stored in guest rooms, wondering....how did i get to be so lucky?
i wish i had a gift with words. some people have the ability to string the perfect words together into the perfect phrases and when you come across that perfect expression you stop and read it over and over and over and it's so beautiful that your heart literally pulls then beats slower (or is it faster?)...
so i don't want to get out of the habit of writing. writing keeps your creativity accessible, shareable, disciplined? so here's yet another attempt at starting a blog.
